The helmet appears to be in good shape considering the age.  There are scuff marks and cracks in the leather, along with some dirt and aging.   It comes complete with the chin strap which has some dirt and rust marks on it from the metal buckle. The inside has a "wool-like"? padding, and a suspension system for comfort in the top of the helmet.  The helmet is black in color, and the stripes appear to be a deep orange tan leather.  The Draper Maynard "Lucky Dog" logo is intact and can be viewed closely in image 4.  It has a number of D136 stamped on it, and "Made in the USA.  I am unsure of which team this helmet may have belonged to, or if these colors signify a special team.  The helmet appears to be an adult size, and has a circumference of 25 1/2".  There appears to be an "M" stamped on the back of the helmet... I do not know if that relates to its size. The bottom of the ear flap to the top of the helmet measures 11".  The helmet has been photographed with a dowel in it to keep it open, as seen in the images of the inside of the helmet.  Image 12 shows the helmet without a dowel in it, where the sides close together when it is relaxed.  Image 13 shows an example of some of the cracking in the leather. The Draper Maynard Company was located in Plymouth, N.H. USA and was the maker of "Lucky Dog" Sports Goods in the 1920's.
